Backrooms Prop Hunt Online
Delete your account and data
Use this page to ask Ripperwing Entertainment LLC, the developer of our mobile games, to delete your game account and the personal data linked to it. You do not need to install or open the game to make a request.
- Developer: Ripperwing Entertainment LLC
- Games covered: Backrooms Prop Hunt Online
The fastest way: delete in the game
If you have the game installed and are signed in with Google Play Games:
- Open the game and tap Store in the main menu.
- In the account line, tap Delete account.
- Tap again to confirm. The game asks Google Play Games to confirm that it is you, then deletes your account right away.
Request deletion on this page
- Fill in the form below with an email address we can reach you at. The game is already filled in: this page is for Backrooms Prop Hunt Online.
- Add your Support ID. It helps us find your account. (See "Where to find your Support ID" below.)
- Tick the confirmation box and select Send deletion request.
- To make sure that nobody else deletes your account, we reply to the email address you gave us and ask you to confirm the request and the Support ID shown in your game. We do not delete anything until you confirm.
- We complete your request and confirm by email, normally within one month.
Uninstalling the game does not delete your data. You can also send your request by email (see below).
Where to find your Support ID
Open the game and tap Store in the main menu. When you are signed in with Google Play Games, the account line shows your Support ID, a code of 22 letters, numbers, dashes and underscores. If you are not signed in, you have no game account on our server (see below).
What happens to your data
What we delete
- Your coin balance and any coin debt. They are set to zero and cannot be restored.
- The links between your game account and your Google Play Games player ID and your EOS product user ID (the anonymous ID used for online play).
- The items you unlocked with coins.
- All sign-in sessions for the account. If you sign in again later, you start with a new, empty account.
- Your online-play data at Epic Games, including your XP backup: we ask Epic Games to delete the data linked to your EOS product user ID. When you delete your account in the game, the game also deletes the online-play login stored on your device.
- Support emails about your account (except the record of this request, see below).
What we keep, and for how long
- Your random account ID, marked as deleted, with its coin totals, and the purchase records that refer to it. A purchase record contains a one-way hash of the store's purchase token and its last six characters, the product, the date, the coins granted and whether the purchase was refunded. It no longer contains the links to your Google Play Games player ID or your EOS product user ID. We keep these records to stop the same purchase being used twice and to handle refunds and disputes, for as long as we sell the product concerned and then for no longer than 24 months.
- Ad reward confirmations from Google, which contain your account ID. They are deleted automatically 30 days after they are received.
- A record of your deletion request (your email address, the game, the details you entered and the date), so we can show that we handled it. Kept for no longer than 24 months after we close the request.
- Information we must keep by law, or to resolve disputes or enforce our agreements, for as long as that is required.
Data that is not linked to your account
- Crash reports do not contain your account ID, name or email address, so we cannot find them for you. They are deleted automatically within 90 days.
- Game server logs (IP address and request details) are deleted automatically after three days.
Data held by other companies
- Purchases. Payments are handled by the store you bought from (Google Play or the App Store), not by us, and we never see your payment card details. The store keeps its own records under its own policy. An ad-free purchase stays with your Google Play or App Store account and is not removed when you delete your game account.
- Ads. Google holds the data its ad service collects. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings.
- Accounts. Your Google or Apple account is handled under Google's or Apple's own privacy policy.
If you never signed in with Google Play Games
We do not hold a game account for you and cannot link any data on our server to you. There are no coins or items to delete, and your crash reports are not linked to you. You can still send a request, and we will tell you what, if anything, we found.
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how long we keep it.
